In addition to the "ad hoc" tasks that users create for themselves, tasks can be automatically generated by a process. In the process shown below, once a Policy Audit form has been submitted, the system executes the process and creates a task for the manager to review the audit report:
Each User Task represents a step an activity that requires human interaction the instance the stream.
For example: "Approve Expense Report', 'Complete Inspection', etc.

User Task Settings:
- General - General information about the task, including title and due date.
- Assignment - Who the task goes to.
- Attachments -
- Documents can be attached to the task to help the end user complete it.
- Attached documents can also be generated dynamically, using document templates.
- Escalations - Initiate actions at a specified period of time after initiation, or before the task is due.
- Event Actions - Conditionally initiate actions when specified events occur in the lifecyle of a task.
- Child Tasks - Conditionally create additional tasks when the task is created or completed.
- Signing - Get a document signature to complete the task.
