A fully-automated process fragment that makes decisions and takes actions.
The fragment can have multiple steps, branches, and conditional actions, all of which occur without human intervention.
Input and Output Data Components.
When invoked, data available at the time of invocation is mapped to the input component. In addition to carrying out other actions, the Rule can put data can then put data into the output component. It can also put values into the input component (replacing values that were already there), for use later on during the processing of the Rule.
One or more integrations.
An integration lets you get data from, or send data to, an external data repository.
That capability lets you access external data in the same way that Smart Objects let you access data stored internally.
