17. Add emails and their attachments to a process record

How do I add emails and their attachments to a process record?

 

Forwarding an email to the process record stores the email and any attachments in the record history.

From any task, click the related to link at the top to get to the data record for that instance of the process. In the process record, open the LoA Record Gear Menu and choose Get Record Email Address. Send or forward an email to that address. The message will be stored, along with any attached documents. 

 

Important: Don't use this procedure for certification documents. Those need special handling, as described in FAQ #10: Employee certification arrived in email .
