10. Employee certification arrived in email

I have received employee certification in my email, what should I do?

 

This situation occurs fairly often. Instead of using the upload document link in the email received by an employee, the employee replies to the email with the document attached. As a result, the system doesn't know that a certification has been received. (To the system, it's just another file. Could be anything.)

 

To fix things:
    a. Save the attachment to your file system.

    b. Open the Leave Record

    c. Use Upload Document to enter the certification document into the system.

    d. Change the leave status  to indicate that the certification document has been
        received (thereby initiating a Review task for the certification).
