When your organization licenses the Employee Self Service Portal you make it easier for employees to help themselves. From there, employees can access their personal information and initiate processes--more convenient for them, while at the same time reducing the load on the HR Team.

 

The portal is accessed at https://us.pulpstream.com/vfr/portal.html?id=yourSubDomain, where your organization's subdomain is specified at Main Gear icon > Account Management > Company Info > Sub Domain

 

To access the portal, an employee provides the email address registered with the company, and then provides a one-time code that is transmitted to them. 

 

The information and actions available to the employee depend on which Pulpstream solutions are in place, for a given organization.

 

For example, when the Leave of Absence solution is enabled:

• The Home tab shows employees their Leave balances and pending tasks, if applicable. (This section would appear for members of the HR team, for example.)
  

• At right, the Request New Leave button lets the employee begin Filling Out the LoA Form.

• The Leave of Absence tab shows records of leaves previously taken or in progress.
  
   
  
• The Hours Out tab shows a record of cases where the employee was absent without leave, and the decisions reached in those cases.
  
   
• The Leave Policies tabs displays documents the organization has uploaded to
