These are the privileges that can be granted to users of the systems. Collections of privileges are specified in the Profiles page, which includes several predefined profiles like System Administrator, Developer, Regular User, and External User. When a user is assigned a profile, they acquire all of the permissions it contains.

 

(These are global permissions. Stream-specific permissions are defined by stream roles.)

​Account Management Rights

These permissions are granted to people who manage the organization's Pulpstream account.

• Can Manage Users, Groups, Delegations
    Users , Groups , and Delegations tabs appear.

• Can Proxy Login as other Users
    Allows administrators to proxy login and resolve issues
  

 

• Can Manage Company Information, Calendars
  Company Info  and Business Calendars tabs appear,
  along with the option to change the logo image on the Home page,
  and the ability to file Pulpstream support requests from the Personal Menu.
• Can Import Data​
  Import tab appears, allowing data import
• Can Export Data
  Export tab appears, allowing data export
• Can Manage Profiles
  Profiles tab appears, allowing creation and modification
  of permissions-profiles that can be assigned to users.

​Designer Rights

These permissions are granted to people who define the organization's process streams.

• Can Create New Stream and Rules​
  Streams Management, Rules Management, and Smart Objects Management 
  options appear in the Gear Menu
  
• Can Create/Update Smart Object Definitions​ Smart Object Management option appears in the Gear Menu
  
• Allow Users to manage following streams and rules: All | Specific​
  This permission gives a user the ability to manage the specific streams,
  allowing them to update flows, create a new version, lock and unlock
  a stream, and carry out other actions related to those streams.

• Can Publish New Version of Streams​
  This permission provides control of the publishing process, allowing several people to modify a stream definition, while restricting the ability
  to roll out a new version to the public to specific individuals.
• Can Delete Aborted Record of Streams​
  When examining a record that has had it's associated processes aborted, this permission provides a delete option under the record's gear icon.

End ​User Rights

These permissions are granted to the people who create and update records, carry out tasks, and generally carry out activities related to the organization's mission.

• Can Create Record of following streams: All | Specific​
  Forms for specified streams will be visible in the new-form catalog.
  
• Can View Records from All Groups 
• Without this permission, a user is only able to see in reports and dashoboards only those records that belongs to his group or sub groups.
• Can access following smart objects: All | Specific​
  The specified objects will be visible in the Smart Objects tab.
  
• Can add/update smart object records
  Allows a user to add and update Smart Object records.
  
• Can delete smart object records​
  A user with this permission can delete entries from the list of items
  that appears when viewing a Smart Object.
  
• Access to Data Insights
  Generally given to managers and supervisors, so they can
  view dashboards and generate reports.
  When selected, additional options appear:
  • Can create dashboards and reports​
    New Dashboard button appears in the Dashboards tab.
    New Report button appears in the Reports tab.
    
  • Can create scheduled reports
    New Report Schedule button appears in the Data Insights tab.

•  Can Reassign tasks owned by Self
• This permission allows user to reassign the tasks they own
• Can Reassign tasks owned by others
• Generally given to managers, this permission allows any tasks to be reassigned
• Can Post Updates from Home Page
• This gives permission to users to publish updates from home page that are viewable to everyone in the corporation
