The Data Insight options appear if you have the appropriate permissions.

 

With that capability, a manager or supervisor can generate reports, set up report schedules, and get status-at-glance information using dashboards. It lets managers and supervisors see records in their group and it's subgroups, in addition to any records they are directly participating in.

 

In addition, from a time to time a manager or supervisor might need to take advantage of the administrative capacity to set up delegations for others--for example, for an employee who was suddenly called away on personal business. (That administrative option is subject to different permissions.)
