Dashboards

A Dashboard gives you a comprehensive view of data. It is a collection of widgets, where each widget displays one of the data tables or charts (or both) defined in the Reports tab.

 

Create or Edit a Dashboard

  1. Go to Data Insights > Dashboards
  2. Click Add Dashboard, or select an existing dashboard to modify it.
  3. When creating a dashboard, you have the option to select one of several layouts to determine where widgets are placed. The graphic images show the relative size and placement of the widget columns.



  4. When the dashboard has been selected (or created) the dashboard's gear icon gives you options to:
    • Edit - Change the dashboard's name or other properties.
    • Print - Use the dashboard to create a PDF that is mailed to you.
    • Delete - Erase the dashboard.

Add a New Widget

  1.  When a dashboard has been selected or created, click Add Widget to display the results of a report in the dashboard.


 

In the new-widget dialog, specify the following attributes:

When created, the widget is added to the end of the dashboard.

 

​Modify a Widget

Click in the Widget's title bar and drag it to a new position, to change its location.

Use the icons in the widget's title bar to refresh widget data or make changes:

 

 

Refreshing a widget reruns the report it is based on and updates the display.

Editing a widget gives you the same options you saw when creating it.
