Use conditional actions to transform data, send messages, and execute rules. You can specify that the actions should always occur, or define specific conditions under which they are performed.

 

All conditions are evaluated and corresponding actions executed, in the order they are defined.

Ways to define conditions:

• Always
• Match All - Specify one or more field comparisons. The actions are performed if all of the comparisons are true.
• Match Any - Specify one or more field comparisons. The actions are performed if any of the comparisons are true.
• Expression - Combine fields, operators, and literal values in an expression that is evaluated at run time to yield a boolean value (true or false)

Actions that can be taken:

• Update Field - Set a data value to a literal value, copy the value of another field, or use a combination of fields, literals, and operators to define an update expression.
• Send Email - Use an email template to send a message to a specific recipient or to one of the email addressed stored in stream data.
• Add Feed Message - Post a comment to the activity feed for the current record.
  • Click the magnifier icon to add template variables that supply data from the stream record. 
  • Such variables have the form $DataComponent.FieldName.
  • For example: Review and Approve Payment of $Incident.TotalDamages
• Change Stage Status - Change the stream record's processing stage.
• Attach Content to Field - Select one of the documents uploaded for the stream, and put it into a specified data field.
• Start Subprocess - Launch a selected sub-process segment. The main process will not wait for this subprocess to complete.
• Execute Rule - Invoke one of the rules you have defined, specifying the mapping of local values to that rule's input data, and mapping fields in its output data to the local fields defined in the current rule's data components.
